Family Camp 2023 - Reservations & Registration
Family Camp will take place at Koinonia Conference Grounds, June 11(Sun) to 17(Sat), 2023.
Located in Corralitos, just north of Watsonville, Koinonia is set inside a beautiful redwood grove and offers amazing facilities and activities for our group to enjoy. Here’s a link to a short video, photos, a map and more info on Koinonia’s website: https://www.koinoniaconferencegrounds.org/koinonia-guest-groups
Even though COVID infection rates have reduced from previous years, it continues to be a factor in our lives, especially around group gatherings. We conducted a survey to understand the collective camp sentiment around health measures, and you can see below that our guidelines strive to give us our best chance to have a fun yet safe week together.
We also know that some of the steep roads to get around camp can be a challenge for some, so we will continue offering rides up and down hills for those who would like them.
Regarding price increases from last year, this is due to several factors from Koinonia including a considerable price increase due to inflation, our camp likely not meeting their minimum of 140 campers and they charge the same price for adults and kids. Given all of those factors, we are setting our pricing this year in the hopes of just covering our costs.
On a positive note, we have John Brawn to thank for consulting with Koinonia to help improve the internet access through a new satellite service. More details to come, but as a group we can anticipate a much more robust WiFi connection.
